Carol Boyer
A native Washingtonian, an Italian American on both family sides, wife to a research physicist for more than 56 years, mother of two daughters and grandmother of 3.

Besides being a JAFRA Cosmetics International leader, she is an experienced disability sensitivity and disability civil rights laws trainer for Federal, State, private and nonprofit organizations.

Carol is a member of Zonta International, a more-than 100-year-old NGO that supports the economic, educational, and health status of women globally and locally, and served as president, vice president, and a board member of her Zonta Prince George’s County club.She was a former board member of Independence Now, the independent living center of Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties (Maryland). Also, Carol served as the President of the American Research Center in Egypt-Washington, DC Chapter, a nonprofit organization.She was the president of the Maryland-Rio de Janeiro Partners of the Americas and enjoyed a two-week visit to Rio in 1988.Carol has more than 35 years of experience working for Federal agencies, such as the Departments of War, Education, Justice & Labor, contributing her expertise on disability civil rights laws.She loves travelling to many countries, having visited Egypt, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Australia, Mexico, Belgium, Canada and Montserrat.Carol is a foodie and a lover of Classical, Bluegrass, Irish, and Rock music.She is a person with a disability, having contracted polio in 1952 at age 3, and more than 60 years later, she was diagnosed with post-polio syndrome.Carol enrolled as a JAFRA Cosmetics International member in 1980 and soon moved up into the JAFRA leadership program.
Currently, more than 250 JAFRA members are on her teams.

My Skin Tips to
Help You Look 5-10 Years Younger

  • Washing your face helps remove excess oil and dulling debris, prepping your skin for the benefits of your other products.

  • Good skin care regimen: Cleanse, Moisturize (with a Cream & a Serum), Exfoliate (at least twice a week), Protect (with an SPF50 or above.

  • Use SPF50 or above every day even if you do not go outside: Dermatologists & Estheticians say the number 1 reason skin shows signs of aging is not wearing SPF50 or above.

  • When applying your skin care, apply with your fingers moving upward towards your hairline and temples. Avoid movements towards your nose, eyes and mouth.

  • The only product you should use in a downward application is your translucent powder.

  • Sleep. Do not put your face into or on the side of the pillow. It’s best to sleep with your head up on your pillow.

  • Eye Care: The skin around your eyes needs extra special care, which is why eye products are formulated to sink in gently.

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water
